Joe Milroy

September 20, 2008

I am Bill Milroy’s twin brother. I can remember seeing you guys down on Island Park; at the Morris with Off Broadway and Head East. I also got to see at the Palace Theater in Hicksville Ohio with Huey Lewis and The News.

Love your music! Too bad about all the web-bots that have hijacked this comment section. Well, at least I'm a real person. I heard you guys on WWUH's online broadcast (a local college station), and tracked down this page. Anyway, looking forward to the new disc!

While 'The Abyss' tends to be on the
"melancholy" side, I still consider it
a great CD.
You can tell it was written from the heart & from the soul... and that's what
makes it such a great CD.

So guys - keep it up... we're anxiously
waiting for the next CD.

I am very happy to see Stencil Forest in action again. The industry was very narrow when the band first released "Opening Act" but all that has changed now. The industry is quite open actually. With the talent of Stencil Forest I do not see how the band could not make the big time. To this day Stencil Forest (and the burning licks by Frank and Rick) is still some of the best music I have heard. Frank, beyond the incredible talent, you impose an honesty element in your music that is unique. Good Luck guys, you deserve it. Hope all the families are doing well.

Frank,
I'm sitting here at the home of my sister Paula Franco. We are here with my sister Mary Ellen, wife Kathy and cousin Janice Marosek. I told them about your success with music and also that you had a new CD coming out soon. We are all so proud of you. Sister Paula told me that she saw you at Katie Cassella's wedding....nice time, she had.
Good luck with your music. Would love to see you sometime. Hello to your family.

I'm very happy to know that "Opening Act" is now available as cd. I've received the original lp about 10 years ago from a californian collector and I think is one one the best albums of progressive music. I hope to find it in Italy as your new release

I was just with Joe Uthe Infinity and Jeff Duke at Jamie Fishers house listening to them rock out and my heart was thumpin. Im surprised the barn loft at Chuck Fishers didn't colapse with us all up there. Those were the days. Stencil, the Edge and Infinity changed the music in Elkhart forever!

Frank,
I'm so glad [and envious] that you are doing something with your musical talent. I have fond memories of you and brother Rick performing vocal accompany as I strummed my guitar to early Beatles and Dave Clark Five tunes many years ago. I'm glad you've stayed with it. I'm also glad you're a fellow Moodies fan....no surprise. Keep the musical blood flowing for as long as you can, and....as the Moodies tell us, "Face piles of trials with smiles..."

Frank, your musical talent comes honest, as I recall your grand dad Adam was also a musical talent ...Wow, so good to hear your vocals, and so proud to be from the same family...all best wishes for your art and to your family ... Cousin Robb (Bob) Frederick, Herkimer ,NY
